In the heart of El Retiro Park, one of the largest parks in Madrid,&nbsp,you will find this lake, a very popular place for Madrileños, who go there to rent&nbsp,rowing boats&nbsp,or sunbathe. It was created to hold water shows, such as navy battles and boat rides for the Monarchs and their Court. Today, on the weekends, next to the lake, there are numerous shows and cultural activities for children, such as puppet theaters, clowns and mimes.

Boat rental: Monday to Sunday, 10:00h - 17:30h or 18:30h (depending on the season), until 17:15 in December.

Solar boat: Tuesday to Sunday and holidays: 10:00h - 14:00h &nbsp,and 16:00h to &nbsp,sunset (depending on the season). February, closed.

Price:

Boats (price per boat): Monday to Friday: € 6&nbsp,/ Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: € 8. /&nbsp,Solar Boat: €2 per person.
