Where: The orange trees are present in many streets of Cordoba. A place of special concentration is the patio of the mosque, with 98 trees of this species.

When: The flowering of the bitter orange tree (it is the ornamental species found in the streets) occurs between the end of March and the beginning of April. This flower is born as a white button that in about 20 days opens its petals and exhales its aroma.

Duration: Once opened, the flowers last on the tree for a few days after which they fall to the ground.
