When: Zaragoza has a continental climate, characterized by hot summers and cold winters, with great variation of temperatures throughout the year. The best times to visit the city for an ideal weather are from April to June and from the beginning of September to the end of October. However, Zaragoza is a lively and interesting city that is worth visiting at any time of the year.

Our tip: If you are in Barcelona and miss finding some Arab and Muslim heritage you will find it in Zaragoza. Thanks to the AVE speed-train you will be in the city in just over 1 hour and 20 minutes. Zaragoza is also a great base from which to make routes to visit the rich Mudejar heritage of the Aragon region.

How to get there: Zaragoza is easy to reach by car, coach, train or plane. It is also the gateway to Europe through the Somport Tunnel.Zaragoza-Delicias railway station belongs to Spain's AVE High-Speed Train Network. In little more than 1 hour and 20 minutes you can get to/from Madrid and Barcelona.Zaragoza Airport has regular flights to and from London, Milan, Brusels, Bucarest and Lisbon, and more flighs in summer season. It is located just 10 km from the city.
