In 2017, the CNN declared this market "the best in the world". Why? Not only for the variety and quality of its fresh products -fish, meat, fruits and vegetables stand out - but for offering tastings, delicious menus and for being located "in one of the most fascinating buildings in Barcelona" . But by then the La Boquería had already become one of the biggest attractions in the city, also its largest and oldest market.
