Rincón de la Victoria belongs to the Axarquía&nbsp, (from the Arabic name A-xarqiyya), a region in which the legacy of Al Andalus is alive, especially in some inland towns such as Arenas, Árchez, Salares, Sedella or Canillas de Aceituno. These white villages form a 40-kilometer route dotted with minarets with brick geometries and arcades, hallmarks of Mudejar style. You will feel like you stepped back in time.
